THEATRE

I wrote my first play a few decades ago. It is called MARATHON and was co-written and performed by Robert Sian. Over the years Robert and I performed the show in a number of different countries over 500 times. The strangest performance was in New York in a strange club where we followed a short two-person musical about fist-fucking a horse. We had to share the stage with a rabbit. We managed to get through to the interval when it was suggested we quit while we were ahead.
Robert has directed a very successful version of the show in Flemish which toured for two years.
We are to work on a follow-up show called MARATHON 5-0, later this year.
I shall be adding photos and descriptions to this page over the next few years.
But first a shot from one of my earliest attempts at directing – Waiting For Godot c. 1977
